so how exactly can i put this on my website and make this actually function as a search bar?
@Llnebuster No problem, it’s caught me out a few times as well when I wasnt paying attention
@GaryckA Oh yes now i remember
ya i had that problems a few times, thanks for letting me know!
@Llnebuster When the light source is checked to Global, this means that any light source editing with the global box checked will influence all other layers in that document if they also have it checked.
So if you edit the light on one layer’s style and have the source as global, then go to another layer and mess around with that one’s light with the global box on, it will also move the original layer’s source to match the new one you’re dealing with to keep continuity
Thanks a lot!
Can you tell me what global light does in the layer styles?
Not confusing just wordy. OK, my first and only question is ~ Why? Aren’t there enough search bars?
Dang you made it so fast! like a pro
Awesome! Now i just have to learn how to script that thing. Haha
365psd.com doesn’t work guys, what gives?
I’m so glad that I’m subscribed to you.
@MrRoso97 Bozo.
@TrumanPhotography i’ll help.. start photshop, NEW DOCUMENT.. the rest, as explained in the video is the easy part –’
Or you could, you know, use CSS.
would be great if you could connect the psd designs with html/css implementation; but i love the idea! great work
@TrumanPhotography Not sure how this is confusing, but okay.
@jovaage Getting there.
web design (y)!!
How is it going with that big project?
Looks to me you took a very simple thing to do and made it very confusing…
I really love your tuts! But since Css3 is widely supported now, the use for images such like this searchbar fades. I’d really appreciate it, if you covered some new topics of webdevelopment in your tuts (like creating cool border-images). Anyways thanks for your work!
@dumba54 not every layer effect was 90 degrees. Just watch one more time
Thanks from Austria!
Cool stuff. 100% inspiration
